Making International Phone Calls and Faxes
Last modified 2/15/2022
You can make international telephone calls and faxes using your desk phone.
Making an International Call
We recommend dialing the numbers in an international phone number before picking up your handset. By making the call this way, you will not time out your call attempt by dialing the number for too long.
To make an international phone call using a campus phone, do the following:
- Dial 7 + 011 + country code + city code + local number.
- Pick up the handset and press Dial. If the number was dialed correctly, you will hear the dial-out tone.
Making an International Fax
To make an international fax using a fax machine on campus, do the following:
- Dial 7 + 011 + country code + city code + local number + pauses + pound # key.
- Start the fax.
