Forward Incoming Calls to Voice Mail

Faculty and Staff at Illinois State University may at times wish to forward incoming calls to their Cisco desk phones directly to voice mail. Instructions for doing so may be found below.

Forward Incoming Calls Directly to Voice Mail

To forward incoming calls to your Cisco desk phone directly to voice mail:

  1. Press the Call-Forward-All soft button CFwdALL on your Cisco desk phone.
  2. Enter “83000”.

All incoming calls to your desk phone will now forward directly to voice mail.

Remove the Forward to Voice Mail

To remove the Forward to voice mail (or any Forward for that matter) from your Cisco desk phone:

  1. Press the Call-Forward-All soft button CFwdALL on your Cisco desk phone.

Incoming calls to your desk phone will no longer forward directly to voice mail, and will instead ring through normally.
