Recover Deleted Zoom Recording

This article will go over the recovery of deleted zoom recordings. Sometimes things happen and a recording we need will get deleted. Follow the instructions below to help with the recovery of the deleted recording.
Note:
Zoom recordings are permanently deleted from Trash after 30 days and are unrecoverable. They can typically be recovered within 30 days unless you permanently deleted a local recording sooner than that.
Local Recordings
- Windows Recovery
- Open the Recycle Bin from your desktop or File Explorer
- Right-Click the recording you want to recover
- Select Restore
- Your recording has been restored and will be available again on the Recordings page.
Note: If you previously emptied your Recycle Bin, the recording will not be recoverable even if it has been less than 30 days.
- Mac Recovery
- Open Trash from your dock or Finder
- Right-Click on the recording you want to recover
- Select Put Back
- Your recording has been restored and will be available again on the Recordings page.

Cloud Recordings
- Cloud Recovery
- Sign in to IllinoisState.Zoom.us
- Select Recordings from the navigation menu on the left
- Select the Trash icon from the at the top right
- Select Recover next to the recording you wish to recover
- Select Recover again to confirm you want to recover that recording
- Your recording has been restored and will be available again on the Recordings page
