Unable to Remove Members from Microsoft Teams Using the Search Feature

Issue

Due to a known issue, Microsoft Teams team owners are currently unable to remove members from their teams using the Search feature in Teams.

Our vendor is currently working toward a fix for this issue. Microsoft Teams team owners may remove team members using the steps described in the workaround below.

Workaround

Team owners may still remove members from their teams by scrolling down to their name in the team member list and then removing them. Instructions for doing so may be found in the following Knowledge Base (KB) article:
