As a student, you can purchase a Red Alert Pass through the My.IllinoisState.edu web portal. Red Alert Pass holders receive first priority for available student tickets and/or admission to regular season home football and men's basketball games. As a Red Alert Pass holder, you will also receive Redbird Athletics updates via email and a t-shirt. The cost is added to your student account bill.

Purchase a Red Alert Pass

To purchase a RedAlert Pass, follow the directions below:

1. Navigate to GoRedbirds.com.
1. You may also reach the above website from the My.IllinoisState.edu portal by selecting the Student Life tab at the top of the page and clicking on Athletics RedAlert Pass in the Get Involved section. You will then be redirected to GoRedbirds.com.
2. Hover over Tickets in the red bar at the top of the page and select Red Alert and Student Tickets from the menu that appears below.
3. Enter your ISU email address in the field provided and click Continue.
1. You must already have registered your ISU email address with the Redbird Ticket Office in order to be able to log in to the Student Ticket Portal. If you have not already done so, you will need to contact the Illinois State Ticket Office at 309-438-8000 or by email at tickets@ilstu.edu to have your student account created. This cannot be done online.
4. Once logged in, select Purchase Red Alert Pass and follow the online instructions to complete your purchase.
   

The price for purchasing a Red Alert Pass is displayed on the website. By clicking Purchase Red Alert Pass, you are authorizing a non-refundable charge to appear on your Illinois State student account bill.

How to use the Red Alert Pass

Tickets are automatically downloaded to your Redbird ID card, including a ticket to all regular season home football and men's basketball games. Go to the entrance gate, locate the special entrance for Red Alert Pass holders, and show your Redbird ID. The arena associates will swipe your card and confirm your day-of-game ticket.
