Cisco Unified Communications (UC) is a framework that utilizes voice over IP (VoIP) technology and has been implemented at Illinois State to help you stay connected with the university community.
Cisco Unified Communications Features
Log in to the Cisco Unified Communications Self Care Portal to customize and make changes to your VoIP phone settings, personal address book, speed dials, and other UC features. Some features of unified communications include:

- Directory Search
- Speed Dials & Fast Dials
Cisco Unified Communications Self Care Portal
To access the self care portal, login to the following website with your ULID and password, https://voip.ilstu.edu/ucmuser/.
- If you receive a message about an Untrusted Certificate, click to proceed to the site anyway.
- If you are off campus, you must first connect through VPN before you can access the Cisco Unified Communications Self Care
