Restore Deleted Voicemail from Voicemail Menu

This article will go over restoring deleted voicemail messages from your voicemail menu. 

  • Cisco IP Phone or Cicso Jabber

From a Campus Phone or the Cisco Jabber Client follow the instructions below to restore your voicemail message. 

  1. Dial 8-3000 from your Campus Phone or computer running Cisco Jabber
  2. Once prompted, enter pin followed by pound #
  3. Press 3 to review old messages
  4. Press 2 to review deleted messages
  5. Press 1 to review
  6. Press 2 to restore
  7. You should hear that the message has been saved

Your message has now been restored. 

  • Other Phone

If you are using a personal phone, or another non-campus phone follow the instructions below to restore your voicemail message

  1. Dial 309-438-3000
  2. After connecting, press the * star or asterisk
  3. Enter your ID, this is the last 5 digits of your phone number (ex: 8-1234), followed by pound #
  4. Enter your pin, followed by pound #
  5. Press 3 to review old messages
  6. Press 2 to review deleted messages
  7. Press 1 to review
  8. Press 2 to restore
  9. You should hear that the message has been saved

Your message has now been restored.

Please Note

There is a 90-day limit to restore a message before the message is deleted forever. If it has been more than 90 days since the message was deleted, it will not be able to be restored.
