Requesting Network Jack Activations

Faculty/staff who move office locations or need a new network jack installed will need it to be activated to receive service. 

Note

The form requires you to list the fiscal agent and account number. If you do not know this information, please consult your local IT team. 

To request a network jack activation, use the following directions:

  1. Log in to the ServiceNow Portal via Central Login.
    1. For more information about Central Login at ISU, please refer to: Central Login
  2. Select DataCenter and Network under Categories.
  3. Select Network Services under Support Resources
  4. Enter your Contact Number if desired.
  5. Click on the field labeled Would you like to add, change, or deactivate? and select Activate a new standard connection.
  6. Complete all required fields and click Save to submit the form.

Your request will be tracked via the Request number provided when you submitted the form. You may track your open Requests by logging in to the ServiceNow Portal and selecting My Requests from the upper-right of the page.
