Technology Support Center Equipment Checkout

The Technology Support Center offers equipment checkout for conducting Illinois State University business.

Faculty and staff member at Illinois State University are eligible to check out equipment through the Technology Support Center.

Students may request a loaner laptop through the Loaner Laptop Program.

Equipment Checkout Program

The Technology Support Center offers a range of equipment for business use. The  equipment checkout program includes:

  • MiFi Devices 
  • Projector
  • iPad

MiFi None International

Mifi's will only work within the US. They will not work when brought outside of the US. 


Equipment Checkout Request Process

  1. Contact the Technology Support Center 
    1. By calling 309-438-4357
    2. By submitting a Help Ticket
    3. By emailing SupportCenter@IllinoisState.edu 
  2. A reservation will be made for the requested equipment
  3. Pick up your equipment at the time of your reservation with your Redbird ID card at the Technology Support Center in Julian Hall 115
    1. Employees may send a Student Worker or Graduate Assistant to pick up the equipment by letting the TSC know who they are sending before the scheduled pick-up time. 

Equipment Checkout Information

Equipment can be checked out through the Technology Support Center at no cost, and all employees of the University are eligible. Equipment checked out through this program should be limited to business use. Equipment can be checked out for up to fourteen days. Reservations are made on a first-come, first-serve basis. 

Important

Student workers and Graduate Assistants are not able to check out equipment through this program.
