Mathematica by Wolfram Research is a comprehensive computational software designed for numerical, symbolic, and graphical computing and is typically used by students, educators, and professionals in STEM fields for teaching and research, and for coursework and research outside of STEM fields where data analysis, visualization, or natural language computing are needed. Mathematica is used for mathematical & scientific computation, cloud computing, and much more. Mathematica offers a large library of functions for domains across multiple disciplines and data visualization tools useful in data analysis and presentation.

How to Access Mathematica
Access may be gained by going to https://www.wolfram.com/siteinfo to register using an @ilstu.edu account. The request will be automatically approved. Registered users may access Mathematica through the general use virtual computer lab at Remote.IllinoisState.edu as well.
