Suppress Personal Contact Information from Public View
Last modified 4/16/2026
Illinois State University allows students to suppress their personal information online.
Students
Students can suppress their personal information, but doing so is an "all or nothing" option. Students cannot selectively suppress parts of their record. A student whose personal information has been suppressed will still appear when searched for through the ISU People Finder, however, no information about that person, other than their name, will be visible.
To suppress all of your personal information, students may visit the Registrar Service Center in person with their Redbird ID card. The Registrar Service Center is located at 107 Moulton Hall. If you have questions before visiting the Registrar, you can contact them at (309) 438-2188.
