Mainstay is our AI-powered chatbot that is used for direct communication to Illinois State University students. The chat bot (aka Redbird Bot) is the communication point for new students to receive assistance with every day questions about their education at Illinois State University
While Redbird Bot will attempt to answer most pertinent questions with accuracy, if your question is unable to be answered by the bot, it will be forwarded to the Technology Support Center who will then further look into your question.
You may interact with the chatbot by clicking the Ask a Question prompt at the bottom right the Office of the Registrar website, or the Financial Aid website.
Note
All communications between you and the chatbot are accessible by the Technology Support Center staff.
