To remove an email account:

1. From the Home Screen, tap the Settings app.
2. Under the Accounts section, tap the Account Name.
   2a. Accounts may be called Accounts and Backup on some Android models. 
3. Tap the Three Vertical Dots in the upper-right corner.
4. Tap Remove Account.
   
   

You have successfully deleted your email account from your Android device.
