Error: The requested federation realm object...
Following the update to Central Login that occurred on 11/22/2024, some University members have reported receiving an error when attempting to log in to Illinois State University Microsoft 365 resources. This is most often due to a browser bookmark that is pointing to the old configuration.
The Error
The error received will state: "AADSTS50107: The requested federation realm object <URL> does not exist"
Workarounds
Replace the Old Microsoft 365 Bookmark in Your Browser
Follow the instructions below:
- Delete your old bookmark.
- Log in to Microsoft 365 at 365.illinoisstate.edu via Central Login.
- For more information about Central Login at ISU, please refer to: Central Login
- Resave the bookmark using the URL shared in step 2 above.
Clear Cache in Your Browser
Clear cache in your browser and retry.
