Your Account is Blocked

Illinois State University members whose Microsoft 365 account has been flagged for high-risk activity may find their account blocked by the vendor. When this occurs, the account owner will not be able to log in to any Illinois State M365 resource (i.e. ISU email, M365 portal). When attempting to log in, the user will receive a message stating "Your account is blocked" (Figure 1):

If you receive this message, you will need to update your password in order to regain access to your account. Instructions for changing your ULID password may be found at:

A 5-15 minute delay may be experienced following the password change before access to M365 resources is reestablished. If you continue to be unable to access your M365 account after that timeframe, contact the ISU Technology Support Center for assistance.
