Adobe at ISU
Adobe provides a variety of applications for creating, editing, collaborating, and sharing digital content. Illinois State University, faculty, staff, and students can request access to Adobe products based on their University affiliation and their academic or University business needs.
All Illinois State University faculty, staff, and students automatically receive access to the free Adobe Acrobat Reader.
- Adobe Acrobat Reader may be downloaded onto ISU-owned devices from the Software Center (Windows) and Self-Service (MacOS) applications. You may download Acrobat Reader onto personal devices directly from Adobe for free.

Users whose coursework or job responsibilities require additional Adobe features may be eligible to request an Adobe Acrobat Pro or Adobe Creative Cloud for Enterprise license.
Adobe License Options
- Adobe Acrobat Pro
Designed for users who need advanced PDF capabilities beyond Acrobat Reader, such as editing, converting, organizing, securing, and creating PDF documents.

PDF Editing Software can be requested via the PDF Editor Software Request Form.
- Adobe Creative Cloud for Enterprise
Intended for users whose coursework or University responsibilities require professional Adobe creative applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and many others. This license also includes Adobe Acrobat Pro.
