Adobe at ISU

Adobe provides a variety of applications for creating, editing, collaborating, and sharing digital content. At Illinois State University, faculty, staff, and students have access to Adobe products based on their University affiliation and, when applicable, their academic or University business needs. 

All Illinois State University faculty, staff, and students automatically receive access to Adobe Express free edition with Acrobat Reader. Users whose coursework or job responsibilities require additional Adobe features may be eligible to request an Adobe Acrobat Pro or Adobe Creative Cloud for Enterprise license.

Adobe License Options

  • Adobe Express free edition with Acrobat Reader

Available to all Illinois State University faculty, staff, and students. This license includes Adobe Express for basic creative projects and Acrobat Reader for viewing, annotating, filling, and signing PDF documents.

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro

Designed for users who need advanced PDF capabilities beyond Acrobat Reader, such as editing, converting, organizing, securing, and creating PDF documents.

  • Adobe Creative Cloud for Enterprise

Intended for users whose coursework or University responsibilities require professional Adobe creative applications, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and many others. This license also includes Adobe Acrobat Pro.
