Description

Sight Reading Factory is a web-based application designed to enhance sight reading skills for musicians of all levels. It generates customizable exercises on demand for upwards of 30+ instruments and voice types. It includes settings for difficulty, key, time signature, and other musical elements. Illinois State University's Music Department is currently trialing Sight Reading Factory for new Freshmen and Sophomore in the Music program.

How to Request

Sight Reading Factory is limited to instructional use by Faculty in the School of Music and their students currently enrolled in MUS 100A01, MUS 107, MUS 108, and MUS 207.

Usage of this software by other academic departments may be requested through the Academic Software Request form.

More Information 

Sight Reading Factory is intended for instructional use in courses that incorporate sight reading as part of their regular curriculum. Instructor/students will use the product as a digital learning platform to helps students learn core music concepts and improve their prowess in sight reading and other relevant musical skills and concepts.
