DescriptionNotePerformer 4 is a musical playback engine designed to provide realistic, expressive orchestral rendering for notation software like Dorico, Sibelius, and Finale. It features a built-in sound library that also includes a NPPE Playback Engines that allow users to route some instruments to high-end orchestral sample libraries while still relying on NotePerformer’s intelligence for phrasing, dynamics, and articulation interpretation.
How to Request

NotePerformer 4 will only be available on specific Music Department computers.

  • This tool requires a pro-active accommodation plan which may include alternate software or assignment, if needed. This tool may need additional resources. Please consult with Lab Schools for students/ADA Coordinator for employees.
