Description

Bambu Studio is open-source 3D slicing software that bridges the gap between 3D models (such as STL, STEP, or 3MF files) and 3D printers. 

In the College of Education, the software is explored for its potential for teaching and learning in the Studio Teach space.

In the College of Engineering, the software is required to run the 
Bambu 3D Printers used at the COE Campus East facility.

How to Request

Bambu Studio is specialty software available for the Faculty, Staff, and Students in the College of Engineering and the College of Education. Usage of this software by other academic departments may be requested through the Academic Software Request form, located at the link below:

This software has export control restrictions and may not be used on ISU devices outside of the United States.

How to Access

Faculty, Staff, and Students in the College of Engineering may access Bambu Studio via the downloaded software on the Faculty/Staff Computers, ISU Computer Lab Computers, and Student Computers.

Faculty, Staff, and Students in the College of Education may access Bambu Studio via the downloaded software on the laptops in the Studio Teach space.
