Adobe Creative Cloud File Storage

Students, faculty, and staff at Illinois State University are allotted 200 GB of file storage in the Adobe Creative Cloud.

What Can I Store in Creative Cloud?

You can store, share, and collaborate on with cloud documents in the following Creative Cloud apps:

  • Adobe XD
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe Fresco
  • Adobe Aero
  • Adobe Illustrator

If you are working with other types of files, you will need to store those documents elsewhere, such as on your local computer drive, or Microsoft OneDrive.

Share Creative Cloud Files

You may share Creative Cloud files with other users, or you may create a link to share with others with whom you share the link. To do so:

  1. Log in to Adobe Creative Cloud at Adobe.com with your email address. Then, enter your ULID and password when prompted to sign in to Central Login.
  2. Select Files from the menu bar at on the left (Figure 1).
  3. Locate the file you wish to share, and right-click on the file and select Share.

  4. In the Sharing pane do one of the following:
    1. To share with specific individuals, enter the names or emails of the individuals with whom you'd like to share the file in the field provided (Figure 2):

    2. To generate a shareable link, click the drop-down menu underneath Who has access and select the appropriate option. Then click Copy Link to copy a shareable link to your clipboard. You may then share the link with individuals, or within shared applications such as a Canvas course (Figure 3):
      1. Only invited people can access: The link will only allow users whom you have specifically shared the file, as described above, to access and comment on the file via the link.
      2. Everyone at ILLINOIS STATE UNIVERSITY can comment: All users at Illinois State University with the shared link will be able to access and comment on the file.
      3. Anyone with the link can comment: Any user with the shared link may access and comment on the file.
