Citrix General Use Computer Lab Standard

We want to provide a consistent experience for students when using a general use virtual lab. This document is to serve as a configuration standard for any computer to be used in the General Lab pool in Citrix.
Standard
User Experience Settings
- ISU Themed Desktop Wallpaper
- "Log Off" Shortcut on Public Desktop
- Powershell Script during login to clean Public Desktop
- Nightly Restart
- Group Policy Processing Loopback set to Replace
- Configure the LabStats Windows Service to "Automatic Start (Delayed)"
- Hide Actions for shutting down, restarting, switching user, and locking
Software Requirements
Here is a list of required software that would need be installed on the computer:
- Citrix VDA
- Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise (Semi-Annual Channel)
- Adobe Acrobat Pro CC 2020

Applying User Experience Settings
The user experience settings that are listed in the standard have been created via Group Policy Objects and can be linked to your lab environment.

Software Availability
All the required software can be found in Configuration Manager as a Global Application and can be deployed to your lab.
