University Events Calendar

The Illinois State University Events Calendar website hosts information about upcoming and past scheduled events and important dates at the University. To find out what's happening around campus, visit the Illinois State University Events Calendar website at Events.IllinoisState.edu.

  • Types of Events

There are a wide rand of events on the University Events Calendar. Most take place on campus, and many are official university functions, but some are organized by third parties.

Some University events you will find on the Events Calendar:

  •  Illinois State sporting events
  • concert information
  • training workshops
  • guest speaker events
  • and much more.

Third-party events you will fine on the Events Calendar:

  •  Hearts at Home, which is targeted at central Illinois homemakers and held annually in the Bone Student Center.
  • and more. 

  • Adding Events

If you are an authorized event author, you can click on the copyright symbol at the bottom of the page and log in with your ULID and password to create events on the calendar.

  • Add Events to Your Personal or Exchange Calendar

 You can add events from the Events Calendar to your calendar in Outlook, Google Calendar, or Apple Calendar

  • Select the event to view the event's detailed description 
  • Select the Add to Calendar drop down button
  • Select Google Calendar, iCalendar, Outlook 365, or Outlook Live 
  • Your calendar will open, and you can edit the calendar info like
    • show as busy, out of office, available,  etc. 
    • add notifications
    • change colors
    • update descriptions
  • Then save the event to your calendar


  • Add Events to Your Website via RSS

If your department, college, or organization regularly publishes events to the Events Calendar and has its own website, you may want to utilize the Event Calendar RSS feed to display upcoming events from the calendar on your website. If you want the RSS feed on your website, please submit a request by navigating to the ISU Help website, clicking Submit Detailed Request, logging in, and filling out the appropriate form.
