Attending a Zoom Meeting or Lecture in ReggieNet

Be sure to have your pop-up blocker turned off in order to attend the Zoom meeting. For more information on how to turn off your pop-up blockers please refer to the corresponding browser article linked at the bottom of this article.

 To attend a Zoom meeting or lecture in ReggieNet, do the following:


  1. Log in to
  2. Select the Zoom tab in the left sidebar menu (Figure1).

  3. Within the Zoom tab, you will see upcoming and current meetings, as well as previous meetings
  4. Select the Join button for the meeting you wish to attend (Figure 2).

  5. If you arrive early to your meeting or lecture time, you will see a pop-up window that lets you know to wait for the host to start the meeting (Figure 3).

  6. If you have Zoom downloaded onto your computer, the meeting will open there. If you do not have Zoom downloaded, you can choose to download the program or join from your browser if you are unable to download the program.
  7. Once Zoom is open, you will be asked to Join with your Computer Audio. 
    7a. You may want to run the Test Computer Audio on you rmicrophone and audio so that you are able to hear the lecture and participate.

Attending the Zoom Meeting in your Browser

To attend the Zoom meeting in your browser you will need to select the link Join from your Browser (Figure 4).

Downloading Zoom

To download Zoom your will need to select the link Download & Run Zoom, which can be seen in Figure 5 above.
