Requesting a Conference ID

This can be particularly useful if you are holding a workshop or training session that would require some hands-on participation from attendees.

How to Request a Conference ID:

Send an email to with the following information:

  • Your full name and ULID.
  • Contact phone number.
  • Conference name and dates.
  • Campus room in which access is needed.
  • Attendees’ full names.
  • Description of what the account will be used for.

A handout providing instructions to attendees on logging in with their Conference IDs is included with this document. 

You may also submit the above information via a Help Ticket, which will then be forwarded to Endpoint Support.

For Technical Support During the Conference:

If you experience any issues with access during the conference, please contact the Technology Support Center at (309) 438-HELP. Identify yourself as the conference organizer and explain the access issue. The Technology Support Center will assist with any issues using Conference IDs and with conference attendees connecting personal devices to the guest wireless network. They will not assist with issues on the personal devices themselves.

On weekdays, the Technology Support Center is available between the hours of 7:30AM and 10:00PM.

On weekends, the Technology Support Center is available between the hours of 10:00AM and 6:00PM.
